Foundation 10 Year Aniversario Salomon
Description
Foundation Cigar Co. 10 Year Aniversario Salomon (7 x 58)
Ten years in the making in every sense of the phrase. Foundation Cigar Co. founder Nicholas Melillo marks a decade in the premium cigar industry with a limited edition Salomon that draws equally from his Connecticut roots and his deep relationship with Nicaraguan tobacco. The wrapper is a proprietary hybrid of Connecticut Broadleaf and Havana seed grown in the Connecticut River Valley, dark and oily with a naturally bold character. Beneath it sits a Brazilian Mata Fina binder wrapped around a core of Nicaraguan fillers sourced from Estelí, Jalapa, and Condega, rolled at the Tabacalera AJ Fernández factory in Nicaragua. Ranked No. 6 Cigar of the Year for 2025 by Cigar Dojo, this is not a ceremonial release in name only.
The profile is medium to full bodied, concentrated and layered, delivering waves of creamy cedar, dark chocolate, espresso, and earth with a faint sweetness that keeps the strength in check. The 7 x 58 Salomon vitola adds a ceremonial presence to every smoke session, its tapered ends and broad midsection demanding the kind of patience the blend rewards. Production is strictly limited to just 2,000 boxes of ten, adorned with the imagery of St. George slaying the dragon, the symbol of resilience and heritage that defines Foundation's first decade. If you have been following this brand from the beginning or are looking for a milestone cigar worthy of a special occasion, the 10 Year Aniversario is exactly that.
