The Montecristo Edmundo was introduced in spring 2004 and has since become a staple of the Montecristo range, winning Cigar of the Year in 2014 and earning its place as one of the most beloved vitolas in the entire Habanos portfolio. Handcrafted at the H. Upmann factory in Havana's Nuevo Vedado neighborhood using an exclusive blend of long filler tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region and finished with a traditional triple cap, the Edmundo measures 5 3/8" x 52 and represents the brand at its most confident and polished. 

Warm cedar and cocoa come through on the pre-light, and once lit the smoke opens into a medium to full-bodied profile built around almond, cocoa, and baking spice. Recent production has shown an increasingly complex character, with coffee and spice notes building through the second and third thirds in a way that rewards a slow, patient smoke from start to finish. One of the most consistently excellent Cuban cigars on the market and a benchmark for the Edmundo vitola worldwide.
