REVIEW 2:
Updating my first review because the second La Vega Coyol Gordo I smoked wasn't as bad as I made it sound in my first review. Must have gotten a one off that was not up to snuff or something.
The second time around, rich earthiness, notes of dark chocolate and espresso, hHints of black pepper and spice, smooth cocoa and subtle leather undertones all came through with a nice balanced sweetness with a creamy finish.

REVIEW 1
This stogie was so underwhelming I even started wondering if I got the real thing. In one word: Meh!
Got nothing good to say about it except that as it burns, if you bring the nub to your nose, it smells like sweet cake. The taste, unfortunately, is anything but stellar.
Also, the draw felt tight, as if the tobacco was too packed. However, since it was stored at RH 71-74%. Temp 22C, I am wondering if the stogie got too humid. But if so, why did this gordo burn fast, like 60 to 80 mins? Usually a 6x60 would last 90+ mins. Not this one. So perhaps it was too dry? But then this would mean my digital hygrometer is totally off.
