The Nicaragua - Dark Corojo Robusto delivers bold flavors of cocoa, earth, and spice, with a nice complexity that builds through the smoke. The first third offers rich leather and wood, while the peppery kick adds depth. Unfortunately, the wrapper began to peel off halfway, affecting the burn and making it harder to enjoy. Despite the construction issue, the cigar’s full-bodied profile, with hints of dark coffee and sweet tobacco, remains impressive. Paired with Dr. Pepper, the soda’s sweetness enhances the cocoa and spice, but the wrapper problem overshadowed the overall experience.
