The Trinidad Reyes was originally considered a closely guarded secret of the Cuban cigar industry, sold exclusively at auction in the early 1990s before being introduced to wider commercial sale in November 2003 alongside two other new Trinidad vitolas. Handrolled with long filler tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo region and finished with Trinidad's signature pigtail cap, the Reyes is the smallest vitola in the Trinidad lineup at 4 3/8" x 40, but what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in character and refinement. 

The draw is perfect from the first light, delivering a thick, creamy, medium-bodied smoke with an opening profile of pepper, fresh bread, and hazelnut, before evolving in the second half into coffee and spice with a sweet retrohale reminiscent of brown sugar. At around 45 minutes of smoke time, it is the ideal cigar for a morning coffee or a relaxed afternoon session when you want a full Cuban experience without committing to a longer smoke. One of the finest petit coronas Cuba produces.
