Before it was known as Lost & Found, the brand operated under the name Impromptu. The idea behind this venture—a collaboration between Tony Bellatto, Robert Caldwell, and Jaclyn Sears—has remained consistent.

Caldwell locates cigars that have been sitting in factories for various reasons and ships them to the U.S., Sears designs fresh packaging for each release, and Bellatto manages the distribution while spearheading the project. These rare and aged cigars originate from top-tier factories in Central and South America, often in extremely limited quantities, sometimes as few as 100 boxes or bundles per release.
