CXX Gratus Toro
Description
CXX Gratus Toro Extra | Kentucky Fire Cured Wrapper | 6" x 52
The CXX Gratus holds the distinction of being the world's first 6" x 52 cigar fully wrapped in Kentucky Fire Cured tobacco, a jet-black leaf that makes an immediate statement before a single draw is taken. Crafted by Ram Rodriguez at Tabacalera El Artista in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, the blend pairs an Indonesian Sumatra binder with a filler of Colombian, Dominican, Pennsylvanian, and Nicaraguan tobaccos, with Viso Jalapa adding a natural sweetness that keeps the profile balanced throughout.
The first half opens bright and fruity with dried nectarines, citrus, and white pepper, before transforming just past the halfway point into a darker espresso and earth-forward profile balanced by dark chocolate and spice. That intentional transition represents the evolution of the company itself, from a pipe company that sold cigars to a cigar company that sells pipes. A smoke that tells a story as it burns.
