La Espada has collaborated with some of the most prominent factories in Nicaragua to perfect this new blend, crafted to meet the surging demand for more full-bodied cigars in the Canadian cigar market.

Featuring a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Indonesian binder, and fillers sourced from Jalapa and Pueblo Neuvo, this cigar offers a complex and robust smoking experience. Enthusiasts will appreciate its distinct flavor profile, which combines sweet chocolate, nuts, dried fruit, and a peppery finish.

Adding to its allure, each La Espada Dark cigar is adorned with the original art band beneath a plain package, preserving its heritage and elegance.

Nice cigar

Good flavor and construction. I had one the day they arrived. I expect they’ll improve after a little time in the humidor.

Good stick

Bold flavors with decent construction and a good burn time. This is a pretty nice stick at it's price range.

Unexpectedly good

I am usually a fan of lighter cigars and thus was not expecting to like this as much as I did, but since this was my first time trying La Espada I figured I would order both, and am I ever glad I did. The flavors were apparent and delicious but not overpowering or overly dark like with many cigars of this shade. I like this more than the lighter Robusto they make, against my usual preference. With both, I experienced uneven burn and a need to relight which is not usually an issue. However, for the price, you can't tick all boxes, and I would say the Dark Robusto over-delivers in terms of flavour and smoothness, so I can tolerate a slightly odd burn.
