ADVentura took over two years to perfect the Barbarroja's Invasion blend, and the result is the darkest, most aggressive chapter yet in the brand's ongoing fictional tale of ADVentura and McKay. Named after Ottoman admiral Hayreddin Barbarossa, a feared pirate and commander known for his raids across the seas, the blend matches that energy with a dark, oily Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper over a Dominican binder and Dominican filler that includes rare Medio Tiempo tobacco from the highest primings of the plant. The raw tobaccos are aged between four and five years before rolling, and then rested an additional five months post-production, making this one of the most meticulously aged cigars at its price point.

Fire it up and dark chocolate, espresso, earth, and black pepper come charging forward, quickly layering into creamy nougat, subtle sweet wood, caramel, and cinnamon spice that evolve through each third.
