Black Label Trading Co. Bishop's Blend 2026
Description
Bishops Blend turns ten this year, and Black Label Trading Co. marked the occasion by changing a recipe that smokers have chased since 2016. The 2026 edition keeps its signature Ecuadorian Maduro wrapper and twists a Connecticut Broadleaf around it in a barber pole wrap, the first double wrapper in the blend’s history. Under that sits an Ecuadorian Habano binder and a filler of Nicaraguan tobacco with Connecticut and Pennsylvania Broadleaf. It’s rolled in small batches at Fábrica Oveja Negra in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The extra Broadleaf deepens a profile that was already bold. Anise and black pepper lead from the first draw, then raisin sweetness and dark earth take over, ending in a long, sweet, earthy finish. Each year’s release is limited, and this anniversary edition is no exception. Smokers who know Bishops Blend will want a few in the humidor, and anyone who loves full-bodied maduros should try it while it’s around.
