Brigham President The Boardroom Pipe
Description
Brigham President "The Boardroom" Pipe
Brigham has been shaping pipes in Canada since 1906, and the President series sits at the very top of what the company makes. This freehand-style piece pairs a smooth, richly grained briar bowl with a striking natural bark top left in its raw plateau state, giving the pipe a one-of-a-kind, sculptural look that no two examples share. A polished black acrylic stem, bent for a comfortable draw, carries Brigham's gold medallion at the bit, finishing the piece with a quiet touch of formality that suits its name.
Every President pipe is built around Brigham's patented Rock Maple Distillator System, developed in the 1930s specifically to cut down on tongue bite. The system works by hollowing a rock maple dowel and pressure-fitting it into the shank and stem, giving the smoke an extra inch of taste-neutral wood to pass through before it ever reaches the smoker. No chemicals or adhesives are used in the process, so the flavor of the tobacco comes through clean, and the distillator itself can be pulled out, rinsed, and reused for years. It is the same system that has defined Brigham pipes since the company's earliest days, here fitted to one of its finest and most individually distinct shapes.
