Charter Oak Grand Trilogy - Sampler Pack
Description
If the Rothschild flight was the quick introduction, this is the long evening. We've pulled all three Charter Oak wrappers into their larger vitolas, giving each blend room to open up, evolve, and show off across a full sitting.
1. Connecticut Gordo (6 x 60): the smooth marathon
A silky Connecticut Shade wrapper over a Sumatran binder and Nicaraguan fillers, rolled into a slow-burning 60 ring gauge. Expect a mild-to-medium smoke rich with cream, toasted almonds, cedar, sweet bakery bread, and a touch of white pepper. The wide gauge burns cool and pushes the creamy, nutty core forward, making this the most relaxed and long-lasting stick in the set. A morning-coffee classic that earned a 93 rating from Cigar Aficionado.
2. Habano Torpedo (6 x 52): the zesty figurado
An Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, finished with a tapered torpedo cap that concentrates the smoke and lets you control the draw with your cut. This medium-bodied blend bridges the gap between the smooth Shade and the bold Broadleaf, layering cedar, a mix of red, white, and black pepper, nutmeg, clove, and a rounding natural sweetness. Named Cigar Aficionado's #1 Best Value Cigar.
3. Maduro Toro (6 x 52): the bold finish
A rugged, sweet USA Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper over a Nicaraguan Habano binder and all-Nicaraguan fillers, stretched into the crowd-favorite Toro. This is the hearty one, medium-to-full and loaded with cocoa, leather, rich earth, spice, and cedar. The classic Toro shape gives the blend an extra inch to build and deepen. A true homage to the timeless tradition of Connecticut Broadleaf tobacco.
