Craig Tarler, the founding blender at Cornell & Diehl, built it on golden Virginias and added a measure of Perique and a touch of Izmir Turkish. The tobaccos are pressed and cut into broken flakes that rub out quickly and pack without any fuss. There’s no topping, just good leaf that’s been blended well.

The golden Virginias give it a bright, honeyed sweetness with a light tang. The Perique adds a little dark fruit and pepper, and the Izmir brings a soft, aromatic spice that keeps every bowl interesting.
