CXX Gratus 50g Pipe Tobacco

CXX Gratus Pipe Tobacco is a one of a kind blend developed in collaboration with Master Blender Jeremy Reeves, taking the same Dark Fired Kentucky muse that inspired the CXX Gratus cigar and building something entirely new around it. The goal was to marry the rich barbecue character of Dark Fired Kentucky with natural plum and fig aromatics, then layer in waves of evolving complexity that keep the bowl interesting from first light to last draw. Virginia, Burley, and Dark Fired Kentucky tobaccos were combined with Perique, Turkish small-leaf tobacco, and a touch of Black Cavendish to bring that vision to life, with each component tobacco individually crafted and aged, blended, pressed into a plug, aged again, and then sliced, resulting in a tobacco that has been given every opportunity to develop depth before it ever reaches your pipe.

Out of the tin the barbecue notes and plum-like aroma come through immediately, and once lit each of the main tobaccos gets its own moment to shine in a strong but smooth and exciting progression that feels unlike anything else on the market.
