Description
Foundation Tabernacle Havana Seed CT 142 Toro
Nick Melillo built this one around a wrapper that took years to earn its place. Havana Seed CT #142 is a rare hybrid leaf, developed by Melillo alongside farmers in Connecticut's River Valley by crossing two heritage Havana seed varieties, then fermented for three years to unlock its full character. It's wrapped over a San Andrés Mexican binder, filled with Nicaraguan tobacco from Estelí and Jalapa alongside Honduran leaf from Jamastran, and hand rolled at AJ Fernandez's Tabacalera Fernandez in Estelí.
The result is a medium to full-bodied smoke layered with dark chocolate, cinnamon, and mixed nuts up front, giving way to cedar, warm spice, and a natural sweetness that lingers into a dry, earthy finish. It's a complex, well-aged blend that rewards patience the same way its wrapper did, built for someone who wants real depth in every third.
