Ixtelli marks a historic first for the brand, being its first ever cigar made entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco. The name pays tribute to the old indigenous name for what is now Estelí, derived from the Nahuatl words for "eye" and "valley," meaning Eye over the Valley, and the cigar honors that heritage in every detail. The wrapper is a silky Nicaraguan Habano Criollo, the binder is a Jalapa Habano that adds sweet and spicy character, and the filler is grown exclusively on Karen Berger's own farm in Estelí, all rolled at her Estelí Cigars S.A. factory. 

The journey begins with a whisper of white pepper, subtle and gently piquant, before opening into a creamy, well-balanced profile with notes of cashew, earth, leather, and a natural sweetness that weaves through the retrohale. The medium-plus strength is well-integrated throughout, and the interplay of white pepper and sweetness on the retrohale is one of the most enjoyable aspects of the smoke, with the profile finishing on a delicate sweetness that brings the experience to a pleasant close.
