La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor - 6x52 Toro

Construction, burn, all that jazz are excellent. However, after the La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut Robusto, I came to expect the same perfection, but sadly not there. It's still very good, but something is missing.

Flavor profile:

Rich cocoa and dark chocolate
Earthy undertones
Hints of spice (black pepper, cinnamon)
Some cedar and subtle sweetness
Creamy smoothness balanced with a little peppery kick on the finish

Dark chocolate and cocoa on my palate, roasted, salted cashew notes shine through the retrohale, little bit black pepper on the back but certainly not a spice bomb, just enough to add depth without overwhelming the senses. Very approachable, tons of flavour, firm draw, very stable quality control, and God I love the shade of blue on the band! Overall a very nice go-to stick, especially for espresso lovers.
