La Aurora 1903 Cameroon Robusto
Description
La Aurora 1903 Cameroon Robusto | Dominican Cigar 5 x 50
La Aurora is the oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic, operating since 1903, and the 1903 Cameroon line is a direct tribute to the very first cigar Eduardo León Jimenes ever rolled using a Cameroon wrapper, reinterpreted for the modern smoker. The blend features a Cameroon seed wrapper grown in Ecuador over an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and a filler of Dominican and Nicaraguan tobaccos, handmade in the Dominican Republic for a pitch-perfect, well-balanced medium-bodied smoke.
The cigar opens with toasted nuts, cinnamon, and citrus peel, with a gentle honey sweetness that lingers on the palate right from the start. Spicy cinnamon notes and cocoa carry through the middle, with wood and red citric fruit rounding out a smooth, aromatic profile that never gets harsh and stays consistent to the final draw. The Robusto format keeps the smoke tight and focused, making it an ideal choice for a 45-minute break that still delivers the full depth of this classic blend.
