La Aurora Family Creed Perseverancia
Description
La Aurora Family Creed Perseverancia | Box Pressed | Dominican Republic
The second chapter in La Aurora's Family Creed Series, Perseverancia was introduced at PCA 2026 and takes its name directly from the León family creed, the set of principles that has guided the oldest cigar manufacturer in the Dominican Republic since its founding in 1903. Guillermo León, President of La Aurora, put it plainly: "Perseverancia is the word that has defined our family through every challenge, every triumph, and every generation that has carried this company forward." Clad in a Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper over a Mexican San Andrés binder and a blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Pennsylvania fillers, the profile is intended to be richer and fuller than the Family Creed Fuerte Sol, delivered in a box-pressed format that ensures a smooth, consistent draw from start to finish.
From the first light, leather, fresh cedar, green peppercorn, minerality, earth, sourdough, and toasted hazelnut come forward in a profile that is assertive and pronounced but far more refined than the blend sheet might suggest. Cedar, cinnamon, and a building spice carry through to a finish that rewards patience and slow puffing, making this one of the most compelling new releases of 2026.
