Built on the same acclaimed Coronado blend, the Oro takes things up a notch with a Nicaraguan Habano Sun Grown wrapper pulled from the higher primings of the plant, adding extra flavor and strength to an already respected recipe. Underneath sits Dominican binder and filler grown on Litto Gomez's own La Canela farm, prized for a balance of spice and depth few blends manage to pull off. The oily Colorado-Claro wrapper opens with coffee bean and earth on the cold draw, then moves into black pepper and cedar through the first two thirds before the spice intensifies and strength builds toward a satisfying, full-flavored finish.

This is a well-constructed, flawlessly rolled smoke that rewards patience, evolving gradually rather than jumping around, and it stays balanced even as the pepper picks up in the final third. Housed in a gold aluminum tube, it travels well and stays fresh until you're ready to light up.
