Raices Cubanas GRD3 460

Raices Cubanas is one of the most respected factories in Honduras. For years it rolled cigars for other well-known brands, including Alec Bradley and Illusione. Founded in 2003 by the Endemaño family, the factory finally started releasing lines under its own name, and GRD3 is the one built for big ring fans. The name is short for “Grand,” and the whole line is made in fat formats. It’s a Honduran puro, with every leaf grown in Honduras. Inside a smooth, even wrapper, the blend gives a medium-bodied smoke that’s full of flavour without overwhelming the palate.

The 460 is the shortest size in the line, a stubby 4 x 60 that packs a big ring into a smoke you can finish on a coffee break or a short drive. The wide format burns cool and gives a full, satisfying draw from the first puff. The black and gold band gives it a clean, modern look. It’s a great pick if you love thick cigars but don’t always have an hour to spare, and it’s an easy way to try one of Honduras’ best factories.
